You could look in doc/README.developer and README.tvbuff.
There is a dissector sample included. With this info it should be
possible, to generate a working dissector. 

But i have to admit, there are many questions unanswered, so a faq would
be nice. 

What about a wiki for ethereal developers? The odds are good, that i
could host one.


BTW, i did a java rmi dissector, which is mostly done. Whom should i
send it? To this list? Or to Gerald?
