It is right.

No I have one file of 001.100 and one file of 002.002
Two different versions of the files created and read right on two different
machines and cannot be read right on the third another computer.

I'm inclined that NetXRay reads something else from the hardware or another
software.
I'll try to debug the NetXRay to find what he read in case it found timunit
= 2.
