Dear all,

after editing configure.in I run autoconf, configure --disable-ethereal
After starting make the following happens:

cd . && aclocal `./aclocal-flags`
/aclocal-flags: command not found: gtk-config [35]
aclocal: configure.in: 184: macro `AM_PATH_GTK' not found in library
make: *** [aclocal.m4] Error 1

Well that is OK in the sense that I have not installed gtk. But I do not
want to build ethereal. Why is it necessary to have the gtk stuff for
modifying the configure.in file?

I'm using MacOS X with autoconf version 2.13 and automake 1.4p4.
