The tabbed widget might not be the right answer for multimedia, unless
you like your Pamela Anderson GIFs small (as in "small enough to fit in
the hex dump pane") - for that level of fanciness, perhaps a separate
pop-up window would be better.  I see that as more like "Follow TCP
Stream" than like the hex dump window.
