Hi,

for some time I have been interested in running Ethereal on pixel
challenged devices like the Compaq Ipaq etc.

To that end, I have volunteered to contribute serious code to the MyLinux
PLW project (to wit, PCMCIA/CardBus support) so I can get a development unit.

However, all of these have very small screens, and it would be interesting
to hear some ideas about what one could run on such a device.

It is perhaps better to run Ethereal on a less-challenged device like a
Portege or one of the others with a larger, albeit not as big as normal,
screen.

The idea is to be able to easily carry one of these devices around with you
and do serious monitoring.
