Hi,

I am not sure if this has been suggested before but ...

With a lot of protocols using Corba/IIOP etc.. why
not have a generic IDL engine/dissector as part of 
ethereal .

This way, we could  feed in the IDL definition
and somehow create the appropriate dissector, or parts
thereof.

eg: IDL->ethereal_dissector compiler ??
