What I _think_ Ben means is this:

  [+] Flags: 0x0012 (SYN, ACK)

Which can be expanded to:

  [-] Flags: 0x0012 (SYN, ACK)
      ..0. .... = Urgent: Not set
      ...1 .... = Acknowledgment: Set
      .... 0... = Push: Not set
      .... .0.. = Reset: Not set
      .... ..1. = Syn: Set
      .... ...0 = Fin: Not set

Not all (SMB for instance) protocols do this. They
don't provide a summary in the first case, just
the hex value:

  [+] Flags: 0x0012


Yes, I think that these ideas are good ones. I particularly want
to be able to see the on/off state in the context of where in the
bitfield the flag is.

On most of my packets it is a change of 0E to 0F, once you
know where to look, and is visible in the lowest pane.
