If you don't have GTK+ or GLib installed, yes; the page at

	http://ethereal.zing.org/distribution/win32/

says:

	With either package, you need to install the GTK libs for Win32. 
	The latest libraries available on the GIMP site don't work well
	with Ethereal (the hex dump pane comes out skewed).  Please use
	the old version supplied below.

so grab and download the "gtk-libs" Zip file.  If you're going to be
doing Ethereal builds or development on Win32, you'd presumably need the
"glib-dev" and "gtk+-dev" Zip files as well.

If you use the "ethereal-0.8.6-capture.zip" version of Ethereal, you'd
also need to install the WinPcap driver and libraries; that's the
version that captures packets.
