However, the ability to play back traffic is perhaps implied by items 12
and 22 on the wish list:

and the ability to edit packets in place could be useful elsewhere - for
example, if somebody has a capture they want to send to somebody else
for analysis, but it contains passwords or other sensitive data, the
ability to edit the capture to put XXX or whatever in place of the
sensitive data, and save the resulting edited capture, could be useful.
