I guess I need to do a hack attack to fix the core dumping problems
on linux with smb.

I checked out the cvs version.
(note -- I find it far more convenient to do -d 'server' then set the
environment variable...)

How do I get a configure file?
I tried
	autoconf (I have version 2.13)
and get:
: leisner@soyata;autoconf
configure.in:175: warning: AC_TRY_RUN called without default to allow cross
compiling
autoconf: Undefined macros:
configure.in:103: AC_ETHEREAL_PCAP_CHECK
configure.in:119: AC_ETHEREAL_ZLIB_CHECK
configure.in:135: AC_ETHEREAL_IPV6_STACK
configure.in:157: AC_ETHEREAL_UCDSNMP_CHECK
configure.in:172:AC_ETHEREAL_STRUCT_SA_LEN

I glanced at hte documentation and didn't see anything which helped...
