You could, I guess, put the ISO 8859-1 "copyright symbol" character into
source files (hex A9), but I don't know whether we can guarantee that
everybody who edits Ethereal source code will be using ISO 8859-1 as
their character set - I suspect not.

I suspect "(c)" is probably good enough.  (I'm not even sure how much
stuff needs to put in there to count as sufficient notice to refute
claims of innocent infringement.)
