It looks really bad (imho) having that extra info in that tree item. None of
the other protocols have all that extra info on that line. It just makes the
proto tree look messy. 

If that is going to be a style decision, at least there should be some
decision as to a common style of adding extra info (such as "proto  ( extra
info )", and how much info is going to be in there. 

One other way of doing this that might be preferable would be to have the
COL_INFO be stackable, where you could click on that element, and have it
show the COL_INFO information for all the previous layers.
