Now that we have state keeping, I was musing on handling SMB continuations ...

This would seem to require cooperation between the NBSS routine and the SMB
routines.  If an SMB routine notices that an SMB is not complete, it could
stash the header and then when an NBSS routine is called on what looks like
a continuation, it could call another routine to do the right thing ...

Perhaps ...
