Some similar products, for instance Microsoft NetMon, allow the user to
assign colors as they see fit, per protocol. That way if you are looking
for something, you can assign a bright color to that protocol and it will
jump right out at you when you are scrolling through a capture.
Colors are something you are never going to get 100% agreement on, its
something of a religious issue. So configurability is the only way to avoid
complaints, IMHO.
I do agree that colors are a good thing!
