I have submitted my GTK1.1.x-related patches to CVS. There are still some
problems with dialogue boxes, but I fixed the small problem with the file
selection box. (check ethereal.c for 2 comments starting with "Gilbert" to
see what I did; it's funny that these if statements weren't needed in gtk
1.0.x. Am I doing the right thing with file_open_*()? )
The GTK version is determined at compile-time via the macros available in
<gtk/gtkfeatures.h> I have tested this patch under gtk 1.1.7 and 1.0.4;
it appears that I _have not_ broken gtk 1.0.x compilation. :-)
Interestingly, I had to add #include <stdio.h> and #include <stdlib.h> to a
couple of *.c files; I guess gtk.h doesn't include these any more.
