Hi Cathy,

Try the latest stable release: Version 1.2.10 (SVN Rev 33656)
http://www.wireshark.org/download.html
It's greyed out, when you start capturing from the Landing Page.

Go to: Capture
Select Options...
Select the AirPcap Adapter 
Hit Start

Now the options are available.
