I've added a similar hint to README.cmake. I also added a hint on how to
do that on the command line: just add -DENABLE_CAP=OFF.
I also added the code to read the html viewer from the environment var
HTML_VIEWER if all else fails (untested).

If there is anything I can do to help get going on OS X, please
let me know!
